Support Surfing Organizations & Related Charities
We've created this new Surf Community section to highlight
all the great surfing related charities in Hawaii. The Surfrider
Foundation's Oahu Chapter is one of the most proactive
surf organizations in the state fighting for surfer's rights
from beach access to water quality. They also organize numerous
beach cleanup events throughout
the year.
A great program worth mentioning is the Surfrider
Spirit Sessions which takes at-risk youth and redirects
their lives through surfing. The program's initial pilot program
achieved great results and your donations
can help turn around the lives of troubled youth through surfing.
